One-hand receivers in the museum

Audio stations with one-hand receivers in museums offer visitors the opportunity to listen to audio material that provides additional information, explanations, or stories about the exhibited objects or exhibitions. These stations serve to deepen the visitor experience by offering auditory access to the content. They can contain historical backgrounds, cultural significance, or interesting anecdotes.

The iSHearo one-hand receiver is used in many museums, such as the German Mining Museum Bochum, the Oelsnitz Mining Museum, the Carl Bosch Museum in Heidelberg, and the Enigma Museum of Communication in Denmark.

Multilingual Information

The content can be offered in multiple languages to enable foreign tourists to access the content in their native language. This can be done using the switch on the handset or by switching on the playback device.

Barrier-free Accessibility

Listening stations can support the provision of barrier-free information by providing audio content for visitors with visual impairments or other needs.
